The online M.S. in Management of Health Informatics and Analytics degree program is designed for adult learners who have three or more years of clinical or administrative experience in health care delivery or experience working in data analytics or IT. The degree can take two to four years to complete, depending on your schedule and preferences.
Classes are taught in a hybrid model that combines online modules (10 weeks in length) and two campus visits that take place on GW’s campus in Washington, D.C.
Graduate Credit Requirement: 45 graduate credits are required.
Course Requirements: Successful completion of the 10 online courses taught in eight modules and two on-campus immersion sessions are required.
Grade Point Requirement: An overall grade point average of 3.0 or above is required to graduate.
Time Limit Requirement: The degree must be completed within four years.
Transfer Credit Policy: Up to 12 graduate credits that have not been applied to a previous graduate degree may be transferred to this degree. Credits must be earned from an accredited institution in the last three years with a minimum grade point average of 3.0.
Culminating Experience Requirement: Successful completion of the Health Innovation and Entrepreneurship course is required.
